i tried aiming the sub behind the seats. not so loud.
towards the sides. door panels made the sound crap. we dont have dynamat around here. i aimed it at the roof. i kept it that way. sounds just fine.

Try rear firing. In my jeep it sounded nice aimed up, but sounded better and louder towards the hatch.
