What size port do i need?

I jsut finished building a 6 Cubic ft. box for the Team Rockford 12 How many Hz should i be tuning to and what size ports should i be putting in.... Im lost when it comes to tuning an enclosure.

i thought rf just said to use 2 4" ports?

Each corner has a (2x4) for bracing (1.5x3 18' tall)

6 cu ft gross for 1 12. ahhhhhhhhh, its a bit to big. whats the power handleing of that sub, and see if u can get the T/S peramiters. whats the modle number of the sub, ill see if u can dig something up at rockfords site.

as a rule of thumb, 12s like around 1.75-2.5 cu ft net, so with driver displacement and vent displacemnt, your lookin around 3 to 3.25 cu ft, depending on what type of vent your using, slot or round, and how many ports.
