    Box Build For ls1pimp: Pics Inside ;)

    2.5 @ 32 hz from the Moe Collection.



    Panels cut.



    Some paint on those panels.



    Paint or Mirrors?



    More paint.



    One last time.



    Its ready for assembly tomorrow night. Then carpet the next night. I dont feel well, so I dont feel like typing very much.

    12 inch RE XXX (older model). Hopefully those specs i gave him to work with are going to be optimal for that sub, being as he already cut it and everything.

    wait, so you paint them, and then carpet them too? That is interesting. I was thinking people just slap carpet onto the wood after it is cut.

    The inside of the port will be painted. The rest of the exterior will be carpet.

    ah ok then. You seriously have no clue how excited i am for this box though, i have had the XXX for about a year and a half now, and have been using it in like a .75 cubic foot sealed box. I have never even heard an XXX in a ported box before. I bet it will be nuts.

    Do you jus use a gloss spray paint? I did a port with 2 coats gloss black and 2 coats clear and it came out about the same.
