it is much thicker than the good stuff. it doesn't do as good of a job of fully soaking the mat, it gets more air bubbles, it gives you funky working times (is inconstent), ends up being not as strong (due to most of those earlier things), is much much harder to work with because it's so much thicker. Is basically the crap they throw away when they make the good stuff.
try it once and you'll never go back- i knwo what i'm talking about

theres easier ways to soak the mat than a brush, i did get a couple of air bubbles but that was because of the curve of the project and i cut the matt to large but that was an easy fix. It was pretty consistant same indoor temp and same amount of hardner gave me exactly 15min of working with it before setting.

what have you been making?
may be able to get away with it on small projects where strength is less of a factory and/or able to overcome it onlarge ones where you have no choice- i had to use the bad stuff when i went down to grand cayman to do some installs last year and wow was it awful, but it worked out ok...

i cant really say because of to many peeps on here, im a competitorbut i must say its a large project and it is strong I did 4 layers and i was able to jump up and down on it with no cracking I did a total of 10 layers for overkill but i like to overkill everything
I also used bondo to smooth everything out, primed it and painted it
One more project to do
