Call any manfuaturing company. They will tell you to face them towards the back with the woofer and port on the same plane. You get best results this way. Of course if you don't have the room then do it whatever way you want. The port and woofers need to be at least 12" away from the "tailgate" though

oxsign. what color are you paintin' her? the truck i mean.

looks like primer to me. Or either a flat grey. Definately looks like primer though!
I would be willing to bet money that he competes in car shows in "Under Construction"
Accually it's grey primer on the outside till I finish off all the body work. Then it'll get everything painted a color I havent desided on yet. I have ran it, and I hit a 153.9 on a TL mic. I haven't ran a box with both facing the gate, but i'm happy with the way it sounds now. The box is braced with 2x4's through out the box, I just used wood filler for the holes.![]()

Lots of people use flat paint to paint vehicles. The number one reason is to say that they are "under construction" when they are actually using paint. Hate to tell everyone but primer does soak up water and will eventually start rusting. Painting with a flat paint looks like primer but will seal the vehicle and it won't rust.
I'm using a "finishing" primer with a sealer. I wont have any issues with rusting as long as I continue to prime over the spots I'm working on.![]()
