    06 Caddy CTS Worklog

Since i never did post this install on here... i guess i will now..since i'm back on the forums..
clean and simple is the name of the game here
    the gear:
    3 Kicker L7 12's, zx1500.1,150.2, Mobile Spec cap
the box for the subs(stupid simple)... wanted to do fiberglass but time limit doesn't allow...sorry for no box build pics...did have my camera until after i built it

box in the car...fits pretty snug in there

    and...trim panels..

amp kinda where they will be

a nice test fit..and they fit PERFECT!

starting the amp build up.. the amps will appear to be flush into the floor... just basically raise the floor up around them 2 inches..and it will be flush with the bottom of the subs.. again simple and clean

    Re: 06 Caddy CTS Worklog

    finished pics coming right now!!!

    sub trim panel with carpet

amps wired up and ready to go, and it plays ftw?

kinda last minute...but 12 farad mobile spec cap going in...(not somthing i wanted to put in)

i wasn't to happy with the carpet seam you can see in the amp trim panel..so i fixed it..but didn't get pics of that before the customer picked it up :?

great work, everything looks great. I think it would look little better if there was 1-2 inches of space between each sub, but thats just me.

Only issue I would worry about is the baffle (3 subs) with no bracing!

But looks great. How does it sound?

yeah, i think that baffle would flex a lot.

    but the work looks excellent!

how much did you charge for that work?

yeah .....bracing..who needs that but it really wasn't bad once the trim panel goes in front of it..and the subs screw into it... it sounds pretty **** nice.. gets nice and loud.. but yet still very musical.. none of the pics really show it...but i left a gap between the trim panel and rear deck so it wasn't sealed off from the car.... the customer is very happy with it... so thats what really counts right?

I bet the customer liked it, but I wouldn't. It doesn't seem like you can easily adjust anything with those flush mounted amps. But I suppose if the customer was interested in adjusting and such, he probably would have done it himself/
