Anyone use a "milkshake" to seal off the inside of an enclosure?

Finishing off the Inside of a sealed fiberglass enclosure. Does anyone use a milkshake mixture as an extra protection to fill in any tiny pin holes that may have been miss while fiberglassing?

If so, how exactly do you make the so call milkshake mixture?

    thanks

You can , just mix the resin and filler together to a soupy mix . If you have a bunch of sanding dust from filler , you can just mix some of it in some resin for the same affect.

Are you suppose to use both the hardeners for the Resin and Body filler in this mixture?

resin + bondo. use the bondo hardener

resn + saw dust use the mekp.

id use plain resin for teh inside of the box though. much smoother..

you dont use a milkshake on the inside you use a milkshake on the outside. You use a thixotropic on the inside. 2 different things, milkshake is autobody filler and resin, where thixotropic is cobosil, sawdust, or talc mixed with resin.

I actually use mekp for both. the catalyst for the resin gets hot enough to activate the bondo too.

This is how I do it also. Bondo+Resin+MEKP.

I ended up going with a 50/50 mix with the bondo/resin. I used both hardeners from each product. Mixed it all up and poured it in the box.

    It seemed to work excellent.
