o.k. whats it tuned to?

I have a box designed by kicker. It has the back of the box slanted so here is what i come up with as measurements: (these are external measurments for the box and internal measurements for the port with 3/4" MDF)

the box:
side/bottom- 18"
side/top- 15.5"
back/ front width- 29.5"
hieght- 15"

the port:
bottom width- 4"
top width-2"
height-14.5"
depth-16.5"

Can anyone help me out?

man its like they are guarding this stuff like its a top secret government project or something... this is what i roughly came up with: 37.35hz(approximate)

^^ cool man thanx. I dont understand why websites and other dealers wont post what thier boxes are tuned to it makes no sense.

probably because someone out there will test it with a huge sub that displaces like .3-0.5cu ft send the 37 to like 40some-odd range, then complain to the company that the box does 40ish rather than the stated 37, and get into a ***** fest

mainly to avoid headaches.... and possibly that not everybox is made the same and could vary from batch to batch or box to box, or whatever

or(mind u this is all speculation from the random rantings of jaboran) they figure that not many ppl out there really care(or are educated in the matter) what its tuned to.. and buy a ported box simply because it's "louder than sealed"

yeah i feel what you are saying
