Im dealing with type-r box questions myself right now, so i dont know how much help i can be, but i think for sealed, you would want seperate chambers so the subs are "fighting" each other. Alpines manual tells you the "optimum" diamentions of a sealed enclosure for one sub. I would just double that up and let them share the center baffle.
i was plannin on havin 2 since thats wut i thought everyone used for sealed
I suppose you can do as many or as few as you like. But yeah just give them each the recomended space and have them share the center wall.
you can fit a ported box in that area...

Negative. You want separate chambers in a sealed enclosure so that the drivers aren't fighting each other.Originally Posted by Demi

if you are dead set on going sealed the recommended specs per sub is .7cuft-1cuft
i would definately go ported if you have that much space... i have moe lester's 4.4cuft ported box tuned at 32hz and it is ****** to say the least! check it out, there is a thread that is labled box plans and it is sticky'd at the top of this forum... that is what i would do if you have the space.
