9 square feet per square yard, so 9 x 1728 = square inches per square yard. Just figure up the surface area of your box (length x width for each side, add them all together) But you will want to figure it up so that you have extra, you don't want to have to piece chunks together on any side do you?
wow.

depending on how WIDE the fabric is, you might be screwed. You already have to lay the box long ways since it's 48" wide. the other measurements make it... paint for you my friend.

Not really...just find 60" wide fabric, or just use carpetOriginally Posted by djman37

If he's going to take triangles down to cover the sides then the peaks of the triangles will be ~9" on the sides, take that times to and add that 18" to the 48" of width he already has and he'd still be 6" short of the 66" necessary to do the job. I'm new to this, so I don't know if all boxes are covered that way. If there's a different way of covering it then void my statement.Originally Posted by dalucifer

So you were saying for him to find fabric wider than 60"Originally Posted by dalucifer
Like I said I'm a noob to almost all of this stuff so don't take my statements as fact because despite popular belief, I DON'T know everything.
