Question about sealed enclosure

This is kind of a stupid question but here it goes.

I'm making a box for two subs if the subs share a box will they need double the space or just the same space as if it were one sub?

If one subwoofer needs a 1.5ft^3 box and you have two subs and want to build one box for the two to share then yes you would want to make the box twice as big (3ft^3)
