    juggernaut 15 box tuning frequency

what should the box be tuned at for juggernaut 15? This will be for everyday listening not sound coompetition. Is there a difference in the port tuning for everyday use and spl contest? What's the best tuning frequency to hear every bass note?

    30-32 hz (everyday tune...SQL mix)

the higher you tunes...the louder it will be, but, you will miss out on those deep/low notes.

SPL comps tune high...like in the 40s and the 50s.

Re: juggernaut 15 box tuning frequency

The lower you tune a box, towards 0 htz, the better the sound quality is. A ported box tuned higher to say 45 htz is best for sound quality. However, for automotive purposes and decreasingoutput returns from boxes that atre tuned below 20 htz, it best to tune your box for a 15" sub to about 28htz to get a good return from going ported. If you want to tune below say 18 htz I'd just go sealed, there is diminishing reurns and the box gets bigger and bigger.
