I was wondering if anyone is interested in making a ported box for 2 12s planned at 2.7 cuft @ 28 Hz.
It would be appreciated...![]()

I am new to enclosures and such, so my question is this. Would the fact that it is 3.0 cuft, and 30 Hz make a difference when compared against 2.7 cuft @ 28 Hz? What is the result of putting a driver in a larger ported box than recommended?
oh another thing I forgot to mention. that spec was for each sub. So I would need a plan with 5.4 cuft if it was a shared chamber design.Originally Posted by spitfirees20
I have no idea, I was just looking at the plans in the sticky.

I could build you one, I'll send you a PM
that even @ the recomended power rating of the sub you could get it to bottom out and destroy it.Originally Posted by phoenixtroy
that's why the T/S parameters of the subwoofer is so important when designing an enclosure.
I design and build. let me know if you're interested in an enclosure.
