check out my gallery....
basically, i did it in two pieces...left and right. i made pieces out of 1/4" hard board and carpeted them. they are fastened by 4 bolts on each. the bolts were fastened through the top, counter sink and bondoed into place. the hard board was them carpeted and then installed using pre drilled hole for the bolts. 2 pieces had to be used otherwise it wouldn't fit. i am thinking about covering the hole completely. the original idea was just to make my 6x9 holes to fit a 5 1/4.

Lv = [(14630000 x R^2) / (Fb^2 x Vb)] - 1.463R
*Vb = vol. in cu"
**R = sq.rt. A / Pi (for square/slot port)

maybe build a small square frame out of small wood and thenstretch some grill fabric over iti woudl try that

Get some small weatherstripping and put it on the edge to clean up the edge a little.
