Has anyone used the universal kick pods from q forms - how well do they work?
I was thinking about using them for a toyota matrix.
Thanks

Got em myself. They **** ***. The way they mount is ****** and the plastic is soft. You would be better off following a tutorial on making your own kicks from fiberglass.
the prefab, vehicle-specific kicks qlogic makes are convenient. those universal ones look like too much effort to make work/look good.

I'd love to build my own someday, but my time is severely constrained. I got a bargain on some qforms for my camry once (vehicle specific) and they worked great. I treated the inside with a healthy layer of dynamat extreme I would highly suggest this to anyone using these.
I also used duct tape to bridge any gaps from the inside. This is not visible unless you get on your knees and squint with a flashlight. A healthy amount of polyfill (more than what they give goes a long way too. Some dynamat on the kick panel area of the car itself helps too.
Thanks for the info. I was still looking for information on how they fit into different cars specifically a toyota matrix.
