Goofy Box.....Can anyone figure it out?

I've been cramming looking at box plans all day, and haven't seen a box that even resembles mine. I'm not really happy with my bass right now as you've probably read in my other thread. I'm wondering if there's a critical flaw in this box design. Here's the specs:

26" wide, 15" tall, 21" deep

The port is almost square, measures 5" wide and 5.5" tall and is 12.5" deep measured from the front edge of the box.

Well, running the numbers I get a very strange responce curve with that Speaker in it..... Very odd dip around 33HZ...

port should be rectangular, and volume should be closer to 2.5 cu ft.

So it's fairly certain that the box is the source of my frustration. Now I feel better about building a couple boxes tomorrow.
