    Alpine Type R 12inch

    I need a box for this speaker! How much should I pay? Thanks! sealed or ported I am not sure which will be best, just one speaker!

    Ported for sure bro. Sealed will sound good, but ported will make it come alive with similar sound quality. Tune it low and have like a 2.0-2.5 ft^3 net volume on that bad boy.

    I have mine in 2.05 its the biggest one out of about 6-7 boxes ive had it in and it just keeps getting better id go with 2.2-2.5 ive found 34hz to be a good tuning freq. still hits the lows pretty hard.

    As far as tuning the box, I am ignorant to that matter . I will check locally here in Orlando for a local shop to build a box unless anybody has any suggestions for me! No I cannot build one myself!
