    calculation question, displacement...

Hi lets say that my box must be 1.7ft^3, internal net volume, it means that we must have the value of 1.7 after substracting port displacement, speaker displacement( it is usually stated on the catalogue) and also the magnet size etc...??because the pioneer 5000spl for example is huge, we cannot ignore the volume of magnet and back of the speaker right? thx a lot
