    would i get port noise with these dimentions?!

    I have a single 12" type r

    im building a box, again

    if i have 2 - 2x6" slot type ports, would i get port noise?

    at loud volumes, more than likely yes. i have a pair of 4" circular ports and the noise is obvious at high volume, but not at ordinary listening vol.

    NO!

    These guys obviously don't know how to design boxes

    24 square inches of port area will be plenty.

    Depends on the internal volume of the enclosure . For a 1.5 cube box it'll be fine., but for more cubes you can count on having port noise at high volumes. For an SQL enclosure, go with 17sq.in. of vent for every cubic foot of internal air space. ALWAYS sounds great and NEVER has noise!

    It's a 2ft^3 IIRC on his past posts. And the drivers specs determine how much vent area is required. You can't just use a givin number like 17 square inches...
