External port

I am building a ported fiberglass sub enclosure. It will house 2 mtx 7500s. 4cf total, 2 per chamber. since my space is limited i was wondering if i could make an external port out of pvc pipe. If so, what would the proper size pvc be and what length to tune it to 38 hz

yes you can. and the length depends on the diameter of the PVC. you can do 2 x 4" pipes @ 8.6" ea not counting any flares you have on them to eliminate port noise.
