2005 mustang box help

anyone put a decent sized box in the trunk???? im doin 2 12 inch alpine 12's TRYING to get 2 cubes each after all displacement. ported of course.

alright guys, this is gunna be a pain to get the box in my trunk, is it worth having a shop build me a box?

is it worth having a shop build a box just because the box needs certain dimesions to get in the trunk? My answer is no, sounds like you just need a good design imo, or you could do what i'm doing in my sig if you have the time.

I coudl prolly glass it in my trunk, but i would most likely need the shape made out of MDF for the bac of the box, and THAT is what is going me trouble. let alone i need....almost 4.5 cubes + ............

So taking it to a shop or having someone else build one will help you to get a bigger box in your car? is building it yourself an option?

building myself is an option, yes. but i need the correct tools to do so. nail gun and all that u know? i have a table saw, but when working with such small detail pieces to seal if off.....im worried.

Believe it or not, that trunk can hold 2 15's. At least my 03 can. You're deffinitely not gonna be fitting any box through that opening though. Most likely you'll have to take out the back seats and slide the box in through there. Hope that helps.

Extreme Repair Tool Set LOL.

j/k man, better safe than sorry. I got a fire extinguisher, flashlights and a gas powered horn. plus the factory OEM tire replace/repair stuff.

LOL i picked that up for my car JUST INCASE when i was literally runnin on 20 bucks and was havin problems everywhere i turned with other things than my car, so it was safety. i now have a crafstman 189 piece i tug around.

I can fit something about 14 in. tall into my trunk. It's a tight fit, but It'll go in. I dunno if they made the trunks for the 05's smaller or what, I alwats thought they werethe same as the past model.....

the floor goes from 15 inches, to 11 inches, from the top of the trunk/speaker magnets on the rear dech. the floor has a step up in it, to clean the gas tank i guess.
