Sorry, misunderstanding, yeah its being covered w/ Diamond Plate... made from MDF.

I hope that crap's stuck REAL GOOD to the MDF. Any areas of non-conact = noise.
Outta look cool though. Post pics for sure.

cant wait for pics of it thats something that would look good in my truck
The guy I ordered it from has built sub boxes in the past for awhile and runs a diamond plate store... so we'll see, this will be his first diamond plate box.
Make sure you mate the sub to the box properlyDiamond-plate isn't exactly flat

diamond plate isn't very heavy, a sheet of mdf wieghs more han a sheet of diamond plate

They have some diamond plate that is just a sticker. We have some on the powertool displays where I work.
you mean aluminum diamond plate right? because steel diamond plate definitely weighs more then a 3/4 " mdf sheet w/o a doubt in my mindOriginally Posted by GTonDubs

Not sure of it's aluminum or the real stuff, Im having a diamond plate company make it, so it might be real. Never thought to ask, but I dont really care.
