Just grab a jog for all your cutting needs

On circles you will have to drill a big hole in the circle cutout of your sub and start cutting...

    Re: Tools

Once you've cut out the cirlce put your finger on the blade and see how that feels. On one box, I had to cut through two pieces of mdf and that took forever.

    Re: Tools

Your are going to use a hand saw? Why not spend the 20 bucks for a cheap jigsaw? Makes life easier.

    Re: Tools

rotozip has a circle cutting tool. Its alright, not the best. The blade doesn't cut that well through 3/4 mdf. Using a router is the way to go, but if you got a jig saw and you are only making one sub box then just go with the tools you got.

    Re: Tools

routers kick *** if you are going to be using it alot. if you only plan to use it once or twice for this project, stick with a really cheap jigsaw.
