Very 1st glassing project~ *PIXPIXPIX*

After a month of drivin around with these speakers sitting on the floor, i finally got around to glassing my Rainbows in. This is what ive done tonite so far:

And done for the night leting it dry (do i need another layer?):



Now my only problem was the taping... i didnt put foil and stuff underthe tape. I hope everythings okay underneath the tape

but overall looks okay to me.

why are you putting them on the SIDE of the car like that? they should be put in the corner under the deadpedal where the plastic foot thing is... or at least as close up to that part as possible...

i guess its looking good so far tho.

Yep, the main point of kicks is to make the pathlengths of the two speakers somewhat close for better imaging, also the flexibility for aiming, the position you have them in now looks like it would be worse than stock, same place just lower.

I knew someonewas gonna ask that lol

but the reason for that is, i dont have room to put it anywhere else. my e-brake takes up the majority of the corner. and after listening to it the way i had it, the music sounded fine to my ears. It may not have PERFECT imaging, but its the best i could do with the limited space.

umm lol i would like to keep my car as stock as possible, and i also live on a hill... and might need it once in a while.

shyt son, if it were me, id get somone with some welding skills, hack that deadpedal off, have them weld a bar so you can move it back\over (like near the regular brake like where the clutch would be) and then your kick is totally free.

and welding it on would take like 20 minutes to do
