Round port too long

Hey guys how do I do this? the box I am doing calls for 3" diam. and 12" long port. My enclosure is only 9 inches deep how do I bend it. Do I just add a pvc joint and add the other 3 inches or is there a specific way of doing it

not having flaired ends will cause more port noise. I would use flared ends and put the elbow.
