    best way to port

what would be the best way to go about just porting my 4 cu. ft. sealed?

    round vs slot?

    plastic vs wood?

    any other options?

im not new to installs but new to doing it right the first time (its so much cheaper)

    Re: best way to port

if your porting an existing sealed box, round ports are going to be the way to go (precision ports from parts express are preffered). post what you want to tune to, and how many ports you will use (and their diamters), and someone can tell you how long to make them.

    Wood slot, transmission line.
T-line's are very difficult to build and tune, with no real accurate formulas to predict how they'll react in the real world...are you sure you meant transmission line, or simply a labyrinth slot port system

^^^ just killed this thread :p

imo aero ports would provide better sq cuz with slots the air is bouncing off all the walls of the box and stuff.
