is it worth investing something like 300 or so into table saw? i could aways build boxes and such for the locals and send them out to get carpeted, as well as for people on the forum....what do u think?

I would also get a good router if you dont already have one. Some Bar clamps and a good drill. Or even better if you have an air compressor get a nail/brad gun.

i hate tablesaws.
gotta use two people for it, and 99% of the time, i dont have a helper.
a good circular saw and a 2x4 with some clamps will have just as good of results.

Im buying a table saw its a good investment. as for the router its not only for cutting holes but it also can be used to round your ports and box edges. I bought one for like $30 shipped off eghey. and i have a nail gun too
