He told me to build a 4.5 cube box with 4 - 4" aeroports...
Now.. why use those ports and not regular....

boxes with aeroports have been doing extremely well in SPL street setups..

HE did tell me that I will score a great deal higher with areoports.... just wanted to know the meaning behind this.....
Where can I buy these... I dont want to use just PVC pipes....

haha yeah man, i saw that too, just bought some PVC...you should be alright with PVC as long as you sand down the edges so they are round.

to me, it seems like you could produce similar results if you were to use pvc and a router w/ a round off bit to produce the flare....
Wouldnt it just be worth it to just get the areoports... and not mess around with it?
have you ever seen an aeroport? you cant get but 1/4" flare on the end of the PVC inside of the box... Aeroports have a MUCH larger flare than you can get with PVCOriginally Posted by bcarpenterfhl
