how many pins is the connector? is this GM?

Thats what the stock alternator did before they put a different winding in it, it will do 160A at idle and 220A at higher RPM's as I was told. Im going to get a full list of cars now and edit the first post.

this would probably fit your blazer but I doubt it will fit your avalanche, your s10 has the same motor as my truck if you have the 4.3, wouldnt make a diffference if you had the 4 cyl tho, uses the same accesories anyways.
