ANd to those who were wondering about these as starting batteries. They have plenty of ca and cca for most any application.

Thank you subzero. I THINK, not positive, but i think alot of people have overlooked the blutops over the years. I would have to agree with you whole heartedly that the deep cycle marine batts are the stoutest of the Optima. They are deffinetly FTMFW and I hope they find a good home. 2 rest at 13.0 and 1 rests at 13.1. About 7 months old people. Never even seen the inside of a trunk or engine bay. They have an excellent life expectency and are like a pretty lady. If you pay them enough attention and take care of them, they will take care of you for a long, long time!!

I have a yellowtop 3478dt that's treated me very well. Its rated for 55ah. I'm putting it up front and getting something else for the trunk. Just not sure what yet.

how would one of these blue tops do over my stock bat up front? my stock bat is 880cca and 1050ca. is it worth it to lose some cca and ca to use a marine deep cycle?

never had an issue. infact I had mine for 3 years. still sits at 13.5
