I don't believe so. The 4.0 was a straight 6. I can't seem to find much info but I don't believe it's the same bracket.

would fit a 5.2 but the connections for the field wires may be different as in it may have a plug instead of studs, you can cut the plug off and put rings on the wires

Yep, I know. This alt works great, we had 4 q power deluxe 15's playing high 140's with 2 either crunch or audiopipe 1500s with a large kinetik in the back, not much voltage drop at all. Alt wasn't used for very long. It's been sitting for quite a while.
