Actually I wanted it bare, but there was a mix up and one of the helpers at the shop carpeted the box. Not a big deal since I was most likely going to end up painting it with a textured paint and I still can with a little sanding. Birch is best stained, but I've had stained boxes and want to try something different. The weight reduction was the main reason for the birch in this scenario btw.Originally Posted by Kangaroux
