yea I didn't think it would be so deep I should have had them on top but oh well live and learn. I was thinking later on I could take them out take off the baffle if possible put a new solid piece over and then cut the holes on top and it would work fine I think.
Yea, that is why I designed it the way I did the first time with the subs up port back. That enclosure is screwed/glued together. If you were to try and take it apart you would need a BFH and a saw....then a dust pain or a shop vac to pick up the pieces lol.Quote:

In your application I don't think there will be much different in the setups really. You will get less stress on the hatch, but not to much less. I have had better results overall with subs up port back.
Basically what I was saying with the enclosure is no, there is not a good way to "adjust" that enclosure with out destroying it. About the best idea would be to make plats to go where the speakers mount to fill the void and then cut new wholes on the top. It wold work I guess.
Yea that would work honestly right now it sounds really good maybe if I decide to change it in the spring but I think I will leave it for now seems to be working nicely although I really need to set my gain correctly after I plugged my new remote gain it changed the amount my gain was up. lol my whole jeep rattles now sux but I will live with it til spring I think I'm already having transmission problems so I really need to upgrade I just hope it makes it thru the winter.Quote:
