if your are low on juice toss some jumpers onto another car. it will be just like have a dual alty set up for a minute. then test again alone and see the difference. Then you know how worth having beefy electrical is and if its worth tossing more cash at it
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
Looks like I gotta be on the road by 8:00am.

You heard it with the $6 horns of death and I've expanded, so it's now the $12 horns o plenty
But I'll also play it with the new Alpines I just installed as they sound better and aren't that far behind in output.

Do you have the Dolby Intro Sound, I bet that sounds sick (in a good way)
Also where in Illinois are you maybe we can meet up and head down together, Im in South Beloit so as long as you arent to far east your probably taking the same route

I got the HO alt, a red top up front and the big 3 done, but all of that is with no amp and subs dropping my voltage. I will know when the sub and sub amp get installed Friday. With my old setup, I had an HC800 for the back, but stock electrical. I never pushed it hard or anything, but it was dimming a little
I'll be happy with any score I get pretty much.
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
This show/meet will be a Sanctioned dB Drag event with Bass Race (as long as we can use Tommy's meter for Bass Race). The entry fee will only be $10 for Bass Race or dB Drag, $15 for both.
We are hoping to start qualifying at 10am and start eliminations by 1pm.
Let me know if you guys have any questions.

idk maybe 10am? ya you cant show up whenever you gotta be there at a certain time
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
You can come and hang out for fun if you want, and you can show up whenever you want, but if you want to compete you have to pay $10 and be there before noon.
By the way, I thought $10 was cheap for a competition.
So, you can show up any time from about 9am to 3pm. You can come hang out and show off your system with out paying to compete.
Let me know if there are any other questions or concerns.
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
im pretty sure people want to get metered...without paying, as what all the other IL meets have been about
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
I really didn't want to compete, but 10 bucks isn't bad if I gotta pay that to get metered.
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
i smell someone needs points lol. im sure someone else other than tommy has a meter. just have a side show lol
Re: The NEW Illinois meet (early september?)
Would people pay $5 to get metered?
