What about raising tuning? I can shorten the port, but then I gain a little volume of course...

That pretty much works against itself. A larger box needs less length to maintain the same tuning.
You got the dimensions of the box and port? I'll crunch some numbers and see what I can come up with.

Sound Decision in Montgomery, IL is talking about having a car and bike show on one of the two weekends, and they called me to see if I wanted to do an SPL competition at the show. I am really considering doing this.
What I would like to know is if people would like to go there for the IL meet? Most likely it will not be a sanctioned event, but maybe have trophies.
Let me know what you guys think. I might be able to get a discounted entry fee for people from this forum.
