I would because I never got metered before.
I would because I never got metered before.
i wouldnt, i would pay 400 lol because i have my own term lab i bought LOL plus im not goingbut if people arent willing to pay 5-10 bux to compete they are cheapass's. one less pack of cig's for some people.
its not that fact..
its the fact that its not turning into a traditional meet we have had but more of a event.. and many people come just to park and walk around to check others systems out..not pay money to get metered.. 10$ isnt **** im just saying im sure thats going to make a couple people change their mind.. hell if i want to get metered anytime i want for free i can..

I dont have a problem paying but I guess I thought it was a fun meet and not a db drag sanctioned event, also I understand I may not have the furtherest drive but 90 miles (1 way) worth of gas isnt cheap especially when your in college without a job![]()

Well is sounds like it'll be a get together like we've done before, but you have the "option" of paying $10 to do some dB drag if you want. Should be a good time as always and I'll give dB drag a shot with some coaching from Tommy
And I'll pay the $5 or whatever to do a sweep and meter on a tone, no biggie.
Looks like about 1 hour 45 minutes for me, but that could be MUCH worse with all the **** construction going on, so I'll be leaving early.
I'm sure the majority of us will just be chillin and listening to each others systems, so come out and have some fun as the season is almost over...
what ever happened to give the guy a doober and he will meter you? i miss that
O my liver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People, please don't complain about paying $5-10. I realize that I metered for free at the previous meets, but this is going to be a car show and a REAL competition. Plus we will be able to do some head-to-head bassrace action.
Perhaps if people don't want to compete we can do some $5 fun runs after the show if alex would allow that. This is in appreciation of him allowing us to have the show there (since sugar grove STILL hasn't returned my emails and calls) and having a police officer there so we won't catch any **** from any other businesses/people.

Looking forward to hearing your mystery build. You sold the Altie didn't you?

I know it's normally just a meet. However, where else can you try your hand at dbdrag and bassrace for $15?

This is still going to be the IL meet, so everyone can feel free to come and hang out and show off your systems. We are trying to work something out with a meter that people can use for $5. We are hoping to have more than one usable meter there.
I hope to see everyone there.
