Just wondering, why is this guy catching so much crap?
WOW! You mean you are going out of the country, you packed, told everyone you were leaving, and then remembered it was "next week". Were you going by yourself? Everyone else in your family/friends made the same mistake?

I am the owner and builder of the crx in this post, it had 10 L7 10s amd 4 ZX1500s. I dont konw why anyone on here is giving donnie ****, but can assure you he has done more for car audio than most can even dream of, And will probably forget more about car audio than a lot of people will learn. We have built one of the most dominant teams in the world, and if anyone would like to dispute that, We are not hard to find.

Gotta love an org. that uses a human for a mic stand.
I'm curious, how much do you guys gain using a big person in the passenger seat versus the mic just sitting there? I did a usaci show back in '06 and the mic monkey cost me about a dB during my SB1 run.
And I can only hope that usaci makes some kind of official cd so that "so loud it hertz" cd doesn't continue to be used, because it's a joke.
Loud scores for sure. Especially for the amount of power you had. Lot of cone area though.

hey! I resemble that!I played mic monkey at the Kuhmo Warriors Series in West Point, KY in 2006
It was a fun show, but honestly it was the biggest noobfest ive ever been to - bar none. out of the 70 vehicles I sat in, 50 of the competitors had to be shown what a tone sweep was. They really didnt give a **** where you placed the mic either, as long as it was in the passenger seat of some sort. Being that I have been to so many MECA events, I stuffed the mic in the kick as far up there as it could go on all of the cars. It probably shot most of their scores up high. I wonder if that is represenative of all the USACi events, ive just been to a couple and it was like that at all of them.
