Custom Rides for Saving Lives car show. Win a PPI Amp! (MI)

Each year we hold a car show and auction to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We're expecting around 200 vehicles this year. The show will be in Lake Orion, MI this year on June 30th. More info at http://www.OaktownTrucks.com

We just got some great news! DEI and CarDomain.com are donating a PPI 600/4 Amplifier to the auction! It sells for around $400. Bring your checkbook if you want to bid on this and other items. Items usually are won for far less than their worth. A great time to get things cheap AND make a donation to The American Cancer Society!

    Details: http://www.cardomain.com/item/PPI48335

    # Amplifier Type: Multi-Channel
    # RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 50W x 4
    # THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.1%
    # Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 160W x 2
    # Speaker Level Inputs: yes
    # Preamp Outputs: yes
    # Built-In Crossovers: HP/LP
    # Bass Boost: 0-10 dB
    # Frequency Response: 10-50,000 Hz
    # Signal to Noise Ratio: >85 dB

Hope to see a lot of you there!!

Thanks to Anthony at Second Skin Audio for the latest addition to our auction! SSA has donated 4 packs of Damplifier Pro sound deadener.

Designed for car audio competitors and extreme hot-rod builders, Damplifier Pro™ exemplifies SSA's motto - “overbuilt to over perform”. Nothing reduces structure borne noise under extreme conditions like Damplifier Pro™.

Damplifier Pro™ is 2mm thick with a 4 mil thick aluminum heat sheild boasting and a heat tolerance over 500 degrees. Damplifier Pro™ is without exception the strongest, thickest, most amazing vibration insulation product on the market today.

If you make it to the show & auction be sure to stop by my project truck and give the doors a tap. The floor is lined in Damplifier Pro and Heatwave and the roof is coated in Spectrum Sludge and OverKill.

Please take a few minutes and check out all the great products on the Second Skin Audio website. It's the best sound deadener I've ever dealt with in my 15 years of doing car audio installs.

More car audio goodies are being added to the auction. Second Skin Audio has donated 4 packages of Damplifier Pro! These retail for around $55 each.

I'll have my Jimmy project vehicle at the show also which is loaded up with SSA products such as Dampifier Pro, Spectrum Sludge, Heatwave, and more.

If you're going to be installing sound deadener soon please check out the SSA products on their website www.SecondSkinAudio.com. Not only do they have great products, their forum and customer service is great. I've been doing installs for over 15 years and can say that this is the best, most complete sound deadener I have seen.

This week is going to be totally crazy for me. We just started working 55hrs/week, I have to get stuff ready for the show and help make the limbo stick for the car and truck limbo and what else... Oh ya, the truck I plan on driving there hasn't been driven in over a year and a half since we started working on it!

Thanks man. I think we got it though. I drove it to the show with open headers then back to the shop that night. Shot it in black primer on Tuesday.

Did any of you make it out to the show?
