How Much is this worth?

Sup i'm new to this alarm thingy, and I need to buy a new alarm. Anyways, I don't want to get ripped, I been trying to look around online at prices but having trouble finding them...well this guy is selling a used Clifford arrow 3 G3 alarm, and I was wondering how much it was worth. I know the arrow 5 is out already, but I really have no idea how much that is worth. Well i was interested in buying the arrow 3 alarm from him because hes local, but I don't want to overpay for something that old. So if someone can let me know whats a good price to pay for the alarm that would be great, and maybe help me out and send me some links of good sites to buy alarms from. Oh here is the guy's ad...how much do you think the alarm is worth? and do you think his asking price is good?

dont buy a used alarm. just spend the money for a new one that has everything. and get it installed professionally.

i dont even know why you would try and sell an old alarm. most people just upgrade and throw the old one away cause you dont have all the original stuff with it and all of the wires. i know when i install an alarm i dont give the customer any of the extra wires that go with it, cause i know they will not need it. if they need something else done they will come back
