i have a viper 791xv remote start alarm everything is installed and it works fine its just when its cold out it doesnt start up on the first try sometimes its take till the 4th. where is the crank adjustment and how to i adjust it?

Did you hook up the Tach wire? or are you tying to use the voltage option? areas where th temp goes low causes eratic behavior in voltage mode. There is a Cranktime option in the menus but if you have tach connected you usually don't need it.

It's probably in virtual tach mode (voltage) and thats why its not wanting to start properly. You could tag the tach wire and it will start correctly then, however i wouldnt do this in some vehicles because it can effect the vehicles electrical system.
Sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone.
791 does not come with virtual tach, this alarm is almost 5 years old now
you need to adjust the crank time, or run a tach wire. Find someone with a bitwriter, or read the manual
