This guy once told me that Sony makes 90% of all tv's out there. I have been looking at some on EBAY and was wondering if pyle tv's would be worth putting some money down on.

make 90% of them they might, make 90% with top of the line meterials i think not. It all depends on where you level of satisfaction is, if u just want something more for show, and really not to watch, just light up, go for it.. if your looking for a mobile theatre, ide get something a little better..

When you mean you'd look for something else you mean that those screens dont look that great? Really I dont care what the pixel rate is as long as it lasts. But what brands should I look for?

im thinkin that their picture isnt gonna be the greatest, along with reliability. You never know though, some things do amaze us everyday.. as for in car tv's, i think many people make them, myself, ide go with a more reputable brand, but watever sails ur boat ya know..
