cant see any video

i hooked my screen up, i ran the power wire to the battery and grounded it like i was suppose to then plugged the video cable in and when i would put in a dvd i would get like 2 seconds of video then it goes to this blue screen that says Warning do not place screen where its visible to driver. i can get audio just fine i just dont get any video can someone help me?

Most screens now a day have some sort of security that will only work if your car is parked.. I know there is something you can do to bypass it.. but I just can't remember.. Otherwise.. I don't know what to tell you..

thats what is funny i cant even see any video when i am in park, i just turn the car on and turn my screen and dvd player on and 2 seconds of video then it goes the blue screen

Many have a parking brake GROUND. That make them work (video) only when the parking brake is engaged. Ground that wire to a constant ground..That might cure your problem.
