as far as i'm concerned it's one of the easiest vehicles ever. done hundreds of them over the years. pick up a GMBP from bypasskits.com or your local dealer and it'll make life way easy. check us out www.bzcaraudio.com
easy easy easy only issue i have seen is if the factory security kicks in it wont let the truck start at all and u have to wait 10 min for it to reset to start the truck. generally a bad bypass causes that. get a gmbp or GMBPDL works or a 1700g for everything

1700 g doesn't work for everything until 2003. It will do the passlock integration. Yes it's the same for 1999.

if we can get them the shop i was at sent all of the old bypasses back and is on xk's only now.
