Alarms in car w/o auto doorlocks and windows

I was wondering if you can still have alrams installed in cars without auto door locks or auto windows, my car has neither and I would like a decent alarm that would protect my investment.

With that said could you give me any recomendations of alarms that might do the trick for this particular set up?

Having power locks/windows is not a requirement for any alarm system. You can literally install any alarm available on the market in your car if you wanted to. In fact 99% of shops out there charge extra to hook up your power locks/windows to an alarm.

Manufacturers that make decent systems are Clifford, Alpine, Ungo, Crimestopper, and many others.

There is a pretty big range here. The unit costs affects it as well as the accessories you want hooked up. Go to your local shop and tell them you want a basic alarm with a shock sensor and nothing else. Should be able to get out of there under $200 for a good system. Again it depends on the shop or the brand. It could be half that, or twice that.
