lol. I won't get into a flame fest with you, but people beware: not all detectors are the same! Any car enthusiast will recommend a V1 over a walmart detector. Moreover, if you do a google search, the results will be the same.
edit: I read your an 06'er so I understand your lack of decorum.![]()
He's not talking about a walmart one
hes talking about the escort 8500 x50
read sir![]()

i look at it this way. when u fart, and u know its a good one.. its nice. but when u try to fart and it comes out flat and flabby, your like.. aww that wasnt worth the push ~LowEnd85
everyone bashes the phazer 2..but its gotten me out of numerous tickets. i commute on the highway back and forth to school everyday, and its saved me on atleast 2 accounts in the month ive had it.
people knock it because "there have been tests that show it is ineffective". thats true, within 150 feet of the cop he will be able to read you speed because from the time the signal is comming at the phazer to the time its been reflected off your vehicle, if its within 150 feet it doesnt have enough time to scramble it. (did i explain that so it could be understood?) but it can scramble radar gun signal from as far as 2 miles away (line of sight usually). i use it with just a regular radioshack radar detector, and it hasnt failed me yet, knock on wood.
you just gotta read the booklet that comes with it explaining all the guidelines..theres like..2. and if you send in the little paper, they pay for the ticket if you get one. but id rather not get the ticket in the first place.

Keeping the radar as close to the front license plate area is the best. Since they train you to aim at the front license plate. But if it can sense 360 degrees then you need to have it high enough to see outa the back window also.
