Ive been looking at old motorcycles (Mid 80's honda bikes) just to scoot to work and school...thats whats killing me, 15 miles each way 3-4 times daily

shot up to 4.30/gallon for regular today..fml. the beginning of this thread makes me think about how much $ id have if i wasnt paying for gas. people were bitching about 1.90 a gallon lmao

It really ***** out here in the country. 20miles 1 way to work, no way to get closer, it'll just put me further from wife's work. 2 Kids so motorcycle and ultra-compacts don't work. And country means you have to have a truck, and 4wd to get anything done. Obama can say w/e he wants about BS oil dependency but you can't close one door until you have a replacement working for it. Electrics, hybrids and alternatives don't do what trucks do.

Any vehicle can be converted to CNG, EFI, Carburated, Diesel... Its all a matter of filling stations in your area.

I'm in SoCal, I think it's around $4.40 here now.... I don't really look at the prices, as I only have so much money to put in. So I just put in 20 bucks and look at how much less my needle goes up. For example, it used to give me a half tank a year ago.... now it's a smidge over a quarter.
