Cats and Test Pipe

Alright I need some oppinions:

2.3L 4cyl Ranger

Is the chance of getting cought with no CAT or a test pipe? Right now I am installing dual glasspacks on it. What do yall think?

I think you'd be fine without a Cat if it was quiet, but you're obviously TRYING to make it loud

Do you have state inspections?

In some states there is a cluse that states that if it "falls" off you dont have to put one back on. Check into it. I have taken them off before and claimed that it fell off.

id reccomend something other than a glass pack. are you going to be putting the cat back on or do you want it off completely. if its just for now and your running straight headers or something i wouldnt reccomend driving to far. i got pulled over when workin on the exhaust for my camaro running straight headers while i was welding the exhaust system together

Alrigght I just finished putting on the glass packs they sound great and i can feel the difference!!! as for the cat i havent decided.... In SC unless something has changed we dont get emmsions tested unless your pulled and their is reason to believe your ehaust is illegal... so i want to know if cops will think its illegal when i drive by??????

in south carolina you can do pretty much whatever the **** you want with your car....as far as glass packs, i think they sound like ****. my 2.3 mustang with no cats and a flowmaster 40 sounds better than a glasspack would. and my car is obnoxiously loud.

Here is what I think, totally scrap the glasspack idea.

I wish the government would make it illegal to even produce those ****ing things or something, they are so GHEY.

screw the glasspacks, go with cherry bombs. i had no cats or mufflers on my cobra one day and it was stupid loud.
