Yeah don't know why I asked that it could either be your MAF sensor has abunch of build up inside it. Could be your gas cap not being all the way closed or your O2 sensor is giving a bad reading. Running lean just means it isn't getting enough air or gas. I can ask my friend who is a ASE cert. mechanic when he gets off. But I would check your gas cap, And the MAF sensor and clean it if needed. If both those are good it is probably the o2 sensor.

I already checked the gas cap (re-tightened it) and it the light didn't go away. I have no idea what a MAF is :P

I could try deleting the error code and see if it comes back? (Maybe it was the gas cap and it just needs to be reset?)

The Mass Air Flow sensor is a sensor that tells the ECU how much air is going into the motor and is usually just past the airfilter on the intake plumbing going to the intake manifold. Looks like this one but this one is a aftermarket one.

I would definetly try deleteing the code and see if it comes back on. I don't know why they stay on after the problem is fixed.

So ummm what kindof vehicle is it. And mostly fuel trim codes are from vacum leaks. But first of all what vehicle do you have. Motor make model sub model and eninge size I know 4 banger. But what 2.2 2.1 3.4 2.3 4.5 you get the gist.
