84 f 250 460 (7.5) what is the orginal holley carb is it a 770 or what i went in my haynes man. both rebuild and the standard one and neither one says i am gonna rebuild it but dont know what kit and i cant find it online gurrrr

Who gives a ****. Buy another carb. I'm sure you can get a nice carb for it, used for a decent price. I know where a Demon 750cfm 4bbl, manual choke, is waiting to be picked up, in Fort Worth, for $400, and quite possibly cheaper than that.

Should be able to locate one in a junkyard somewhere. I wouldn't really worry too much about finding an exact replacement, any carb that flows about the same should work.

If you are near the truck there should be a little tag on one of the 4 bolt downs that will tell you what the carb is or at least a model number n such.

If there is no markings worst case you should have a local parts guy you can trust just go in and try and get a rebuild kit for it, they should at least be able to narrow down your search on what the truck possibly came with.
