Windshield cracked..need some advice

I was going to just get it repaired...but the crack is from the inside..and safe auto said they can't repair the inside. So I was looking at maybe any other alternative before I spend 200 for an new windshield

umm call ur insurance company, its a safety feature they usually fork it over to replace.

how did it get cracked from the inside?? But yeah your insurance should cover it, my dad's gotten his windshield replaced by insurance, I only have liability so I have to dig into my wallet for a windshield.
